These product video ad examples show what a short product showcase can look like on a phone: an energy drink, a sparkling water, a lipstick and a fabric softener. All four are studio samples for made-up brands, so no real company's results are being claimed. They're here to show the format.
Yours would be built the same way, from up to 5 of your own short phone clips or photos. Below is what makes a product showcase video work, so you can judge any example you watch.
Videos with realistic people are AI-generated dramatizations, not real customers.

Your own phone is plenty. Steady hands, good daylight, a clean background and clips of just a few seconds each work best. Film the product being opened, used and enjoyed, plus one close-up of the label. Our product video shot list lists exactly what to film.
You don't ship anything to us and nobody films on location. If you sell on a marketplace or your own store, see our guides to TikTok Shop product videos and Shopify product page videos.
A Product showcase ($299, 15 to 30 seconds) is the pick when the product itself is the selling point. It uses your real footage, so shoppers see what they'll actually get.
A Quick promo ($199, 15 seconds) is the pick when the offer is the selling point: a sale, a bundle or a launch date. It's bold animated text, professional voiceover and music around one message. Many brands use both: a showcase for the best seller, and a quick promo for each sale.
The lipstick sample above shows the format, not a promise. If you sell beauty, skincare or health products, any claim in your ad has to be truthful and backed up. Skip before-and-after promises and lines like "clinically proven" unless you can support them. The FTC's advertising guidance is the place to check, and our guide to beauty ad claims rules explains it in plain words.
When you watch product video ads, from us or anyone else, pause at three moments. At two seconds: do you know what the product is yet? At the halfway mark: have you seen it being used, not just sitting there? At the end: do you know the offer and where to buy? If the answer to any of those is no, the ad is working harder than it needs to.
Also check that the text is big enough to read on a phone at arm's length, and that the music doesn't drown out the voiceover. Small fixes like these often matter more than fancy effects. If you're planning a launch, our guide to launching a new product with video shows how to line up a few ads around the big day.
Doing it yourself usually means stitching together a video generator app, a voice app, an editing app, a stock music library and a caption app. Published plans for each kind of tool commonly run from about $6 to $40 a month. One example stack of five monthly plans we priced in October 2026 came to about $116 a month, or about $1,392 a year, before extra credits. That's before the evenings you spend learning them. The full breakdown is in the real cost of making video ads yourself.
With a flat price you pay once per video. The Product showcase video is $299, with voiceover, on-screen text, music, captions, an end card and post text, ready in 3 business days. Compare options on the pricing page or order your product video ad.
