A promo video has one job: get people to act on an offer before they scroll away. These promo video examples are two 15-second quick promos, one for a bakery and one for a dog groomer. Both are studio samples for made-up businesses, made to show the format.
Below is what makes a short promo work, when a promo beats other types of ads, and how to get one made for your business at a flat price.

Promos are best for news with a deadline: a seasonal menu, a grand opening, a booking special, a holiday sale. They're short, cheap to make and easy to swap when the offer changes, so many owners make one for each promotion. Our holiday video ads guide has ideas for the busy seasons, and video ad ideas for restaurants and bakeries has more for food businesses.
If you want to show your product or service in action, a Product showcase does that better.
The Quick promo ($199) is 15 seconds of bold animated text with professional voiceover, music, captions, an end card with your offer and post text.
The Text ad ($99) is simpler: 10 to 15 seconds of big bold words over your photos or a clean background, with music, an end card and post text. No voiceover. It's a good fit when you post often and want a fast, low-cost way to announce something.
Here's a quick test for any short promo video example. Cover the last three seconds. Could you still tell what the offer is? If the deal only shows up on the end card, the promo is relying on people sticking around, and many won't.
Next, count the messages. A strong promo has one offer and one call to action. If you spot a sale, a new menu, a hiring note and a holiday greeting all in 15 seconds, none of them will stick. Make separate promos instead; at a flat price, that's easy to plan. Finally, read the text out loud. If a line takes longer to say than it stays on screen, it's too long.
Doing it yourself usually means stitching together a video generator app, a voice app, an editing app, a stock music library and a caption app. Published plans for each kind of tool commonly run from about $6 to $40 a month. One example stack of five monthly plans we priced in October 2026 came to about $116 a month, or about $1,392 a year, before extra credits. That's before the evenings you spend learning them. The full breakdown is in the real cost of making video ads yourself.
A flat price means one payment and no subscriptions. The Quick promo video is $199 and the Text ad is $99, both ready in 3 business days with one revision. See every option on the pricing page or order your promo video.
